Value Plus 3% Real Estate is a proud community supporter and this past April, we helped raised funds for the Cops for Kids organization in the local Jail and Bail event. Our own Nik Roughton found himself in cuffs and led away by an off-duty RCMP officer.
After facing the judge in kangaroo court, Nik was locked up at Boston Pizza and needed to raise funds for his “bail”. All money was raised in the form of pledges to support Cops for Kids.
Cops for Kids is a charitable foundation that is committed to assisting children that have suffered a medical, physical or traumatic crisis in their young lives. Cops for Kids fundraises throughout the year to support but their signature event is the annual Cops for Kids Ride. They accept donations and pledges all year on their website Cops for Kids.
